Plain White T’s is an American pop rock band, originally from Lombard, Illinois. Formed in 1997 by high school friends Tom Higgenson and Ken Fletcher, the group had a mostly underground following in Chicago basements, clubs, and bars in its early years, and underwent numerous personnel changes.[1][2] The band is best known for the songs “Hey There Delilah”, which charted highly in many countries, and “1, 2, 3, 4″. In 2008, they received a Grammy nomination for “Hey There Delilah”.[3] The band broke into the mainstream following the success of “Hey There Delilah” and the well-received “Hate (I Really Don’t Like You)” from the album Every Second Counts. In 2008, the group released Big Bad World. The group’s latest album is The Wonders Of The Younger.[1]

The Plain White T’s formed in Lombard, Illinois USA, in 1997. Vocalist and guitarist Tom Higgenson and bass player Ken Fletcher had been in a band together. They decided to move on and asked friend Dave Tirio to play drums for a power-pop trio. Lead singer Tom Higgenson was originally interested with the drums, having served as the percussionist for various rock bands during high school. One such band was Harvey’s Daughter, whose lineup also featured bass player Ken Fletcher. Although the group ultimately disbanded, the two remained friends and quickly launched an additional band, with Higgenson taking over lead duties as songwriter and singer. Drummer Dave Tirio subsequently joined the new lineup, bringing Plain White T’s to fruition during the fall of 1997. [4][5]

In early 2006, the band teamed with Motion City Soundtrack for a Winter/Spring tour. “Hey There Delilah” was first released on their third album All That We Needed in 2005. The same year the band was featured for a month as a “Hip Clipz” artist on the website of Curly Grrlz Skateboards. In 2006, “the release of a single from their 2008 album Big Bad World. The album had two hit singles: “1, 2, 3, 4″ and “Natural Disaster”. Both were on the AT40 at numbers 1 and 2 for three consecutive weeks. By late 2008, the band had joined the Rock Band Live tour with Panic! At The Disco, Dashboard Confessional and The Cab. Later that year, the band played at the Give It a Name festival in the UK

The band’s new single “Rhythm of Love” went live on alternativeaddiction.com in July 2010. The track is the first from their 2010 album The Wonders of the Younger. The record has the band leaving their previous sound behind and adopting a “live-in-the room acoustic California-pop feel”, and is the first to feature some songs without lead singer Tom Higgenson, instead with guitarist Tim Lopez taking the lead vocal duties on several tracks.

Adam Mitchel Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor from San Diego, California. In May 2009, he finished as the runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol.

Lambert released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, on November 23, 2009,[2] via RCA Records/19 Recordings. The album debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 on the week of December 12, 2009, selling 198,000 copies in the United States

Lambert auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in San Francisco, California. In a Rolling Stone interview he said his decision to audition for the show came after a week at Burning Man where he experimented with “certain funguses.” He went on to say that “I had a psychedelic experience where I looked up at the clouds and went, ‘Oh!’ I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen.”  During his initial audition, he sang “Rock With You” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Lambert had cited several musical influences, including Madonna, Queen, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin. In the semifinals, Lambert was voted into the Top 13, joining fellow Group 2 performers Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen. Lambert and Allen became roommates in the Idol mansion, with Allen stating it was due to their neatness.

During Michael Jackson week, he sang “Black or White” leading to praise from all four judges, with Paula Abdul predicting that he would go on to the finals. The following week, Lambert sang a version of “Ring of Fire”. While Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi, and Abdul all liked his performance, Simon Cowell called it “indulgent rubbish”.  On Motown night, Lambert sang an acoustic version of The Miracles’, “The Tracks of My Tears”. The judges all liked it, and Smokey Robinson, the week’s mentor and the original singer-songwriter, gave Lambert a standing ovation. For his Top 8 performance, Lambert sang the 2001 Gary Jules arrangement of “Mad World”. Because the show had exceeded its time slot, only Cowell gave a critique, which he did by simply giving Lambert a standing ovation. During the results next night, the other judges agreed that a standing ovation was the best critique of Lambert’s performance. For his second Top 7 performance, Lambert sang “If I Can’t Have You”, delivering what DioGuardi described as his “most memorable performance”, while Cowell described his vocals as “immaculate”. Abdul was reduced to tears, with host Ryan Seacrest joking that Lambert had melted her into a “pool of Abdul”. In the Top 4, Lambert was the first to sing, performing “Whole Lotta Love”. Cowell commented, “that was one of my favorite performances…nobody can top that now”, while Abdul, punning on the song’s title, described Lambert’s performance as “a whole lotta perfect”.

Tommy Lee (born October 3, 1962) is an American musician, and founding member of glam metal band Mötley Crüe. As well as being the band’s long-term drummer, Lee founded rap-metal band Methods of Mayhem, and has pursued solo musical projects. He was previously married to actresses Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson, with whom he had two children.

Tommy Lee came back once with Mötley Crüe to go on the Crüe’s Greatest Hits tour in 1999. With the popularity of rap metal, Lee formed a band called Methods of Mayhem. The band released a self-titled album the same year and toured in support of it. Although Lee distanced himself from Mötley Crüe after splitting, he agreed to take part in their 2001 autobiography, The Dirt. In addition to Mötley Crüe and Methods of Mayhem, Lee has made guest appearances on albums by other artists, such as Stuart Hamm, Nine Inch Nails and Rob Zombie. He also contributed a song, “Planet Boom” (originally on Mötley Crüe’s Quaternary EP) to the soundtrack of then-wife Pamela Anderson’s 1996 movie, Barb Wire, and produced an album for the pre-Goldfinger project from John Feldmann and Simon Williams, the Electric Love Hogs.[citation needed]

Lee parted ways with Methods of Mayhem partner Tilo and began recording with members of Incubus. He then released his first solo album. The album, 2002′s Never a Dull Moment, has tones of rap metal and electronica. The song “Blue” features guest vocalist Rodleen Getsic (the credits read: “Rolleen”). In August 2002, Tommy Lee and his solo band joined Ozzfest, mainstage. He formed a new band called Rock Star Supernova with Jason Newsted (Voivod, ex-Metallica) and Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N’ Roses).

The 2006 season of Rock Star selected Lukas Rossi as the lead singer for Supernova. Dilana, the runner-up, and Toby Rand with his own band Juke Kartel accepted an offer to go on tour with Supernova. Rock Star Supernova was released their debut album on November 21, 2006.

One Republic Biography:
The very first incarnation of what developed into OneRepublic formed in 96 right after Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins befriended each other throughout their senior year at Colorado Springs Christian High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Throughout the time of a drive home, as Filkins and Tedder talked about beloved musicians such as Fiona Apple, Peter Gabriel and U2, they made the decision to put together a music band. They recruited a few musical buddies and called their rock act This Beautiful Mess a expression which first achieved cult dominance a year earlier when Sixpence None the Richer launched its award winning sophomore record, This Beautiful Mess. Tedder, Filkins & Co. had a couple of small gigs at Pikes Perk, joined in the fun by friends and family. Senior year finished, and Tedder and Filkins parted ways, each going to different schools.

Reuniting in L.A. in 2003, Tedder and Filkins created their 2nd music band under the moniker Republic. Tedder, by then an proven songwriter and record producer, had persuaded Filkins who was residing in Chicago to move. Nine months later, they were signed to Columbia Records. After a couple of line up modifications, they finally settled with Tedder on vocals, Filkins on guitar and backing vocals, Eddie Fisher on drums, Brent Kutzle on bass and cello, and Drew Brown on lead guitar. They later transformed the music band name to OneRepublic right after their record company pointed out that the name Republic might cause conflict with other bands. They worked in the studio for two and a half years and recorded their very first full length record. Two months just before their record was due to be launched, (with “Sleep” as their debut single), they were dumped by Columbia Records. The music band was beginning to gain popularity on MySpace, becoming the number one unsigned act on the website. The music band caught the interest of a number of labels, such as Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group. The music band quickly signed onto the label, becoming the first rock music band to do so.

OneRepublic’s very first single, Apologize by OneRepublic was launched in its original version from the band’s introduction record Dreaming Out Loud. The track was also prominently showcased as a remix on Timbaland’s 2007 release of Shock Value.The single, showcased on Shock Value, was a significant hit both equally in the Usa and worldwide. The track was the largest radio airplay hit in the history of the Top 40 radio in The united states, with 10,331 plays in one week, right up until its record was shattered by Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love,” which was also co-written by Ryan Tedder. It actually peaked at number-one for eight sequential weeks on the Billboard Pop 100 chart and also got to the top three on the Billboard Hot 100. The track sold 4.3 million online digital downloads in the U.S. and was certified 4x platinum.The track was a massive hit worldwide, reaching number one in sixteen nations, including Nepal, Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Sweden, Egypt, Turkey, and the Netherlands. It spent thirteen weeks at number one in Canada.

The second single from the record, Stop and Stare, launched in March 2008, hit the top twelve on the Hot 100 chart and got to number 9 on the Pop 100 chart. The track, while not as outstanding as “Apologize”, brought the music band further into the spotlight. Their third single, “Say (All I Need)”, was launched in the United Kingdom and the United States in June 2008. In September 2008, the music band launched their fourth and final single from the record, Mercy. The record was launched in the Usa on November 20, 2007, with worldwide release dates staggered throughout early 2008. Onerepublic lyrics are groundbreaking on Dreaming Out Loud, the album sold 822,458 copies in the US and over two million worldwide as of 2009. It has been certified gold in the U.S. Nevertheless, critical reception to the record ranged from negative to mixed. Allmusic gave the record a modest review, stating the “album sounds derivative” but also “sounds cohesive as well as smoothly pleasant”. Robert Christgau gave the record a negative review, and called it a “dud”. Rolling Stone gave the record two out of 5 stars, but placed the music band in their “Artists to Watch” list, which showcased ten artists that, according to the publication, “…are bringing the future of music, today.”

The music band performed “Say (All I Need)” live on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance in August 2007. In 2008, OneRepublic toured with Maroon 5 and Brandi Carlile. On May 21, 2008, the music band made an appearance on the American Idol finale performing a duet of “Apologize” with finalist David Archuleta. In August 2008, OneRepublic performed “Apologize” as well as “Stop and Stare” at MTV Asia Awards 2008 in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. They received the Best Hook-Up Award for “Apologize”, beating Beyoncé Knowles, Shakira and Rihanna.

On September 24, 2008, the music band stated during a concert at the London Forum in Britain, they were working on new songs for a new record to be launched in the summer of 2009. The music band played one of the newly recorded songs titled, “All the Right Moves”. The music band relocated to Denver, Colorado to complete work on the record. It was incorrectly believed that the name of the record would be Today.The record, titled Waking Up, was launched on November 17, 2009. A deluxe version of the record was launched with four bonus tracks.Three singles have been launched from the record: All the Right Moves, Secrets by OneRepublic, and Marchin On. All The Right Moves peaked at eighteen on the Billboard Hot 100. The record received mixed reviews from critics. It peaked at twenty one on the Billboard 200 chart and has distributed over 200,000 copies in the Usa. “Secrets” was prominently used in the 2010 film The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and in promotional material for the TV series Pretty Little Liars. OneRepublic’s music has also been showcased on the TVs series One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl.

OneRepublic was showcased on Leona Lewis’s sophomore record Echo on the track “Lost Then Found”. OneRepublic also worked with for the second time with Timbaland on his record, Shock Value II, on the track “Marchin On”.In January 2010, the music band performed a live set for the UK’s The Sun newspaper, which included a cover version of Robbie Williams’ track “Millennium”. On March 31, 2010, OneRepublic performed “All The Right Moves” on the Tonight Show.On June 5, 2010 the music band supported Pink on her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour at Innsbruck.OneRepublic supported Bon Jovi at The O2 Arena on June 17, 19, and 20th in 2010 The music band also went on to perform at the Today Show in April during the second half of the program. They were again showcased as the guest for the show’s Summer Concert Series on May 28, 2010. On 12 September 2010 they played at the Help for Heroes gig in Twickenham Stadium, London.The music band will be supporting Maroon 5 on their Fall 2010 tour. Travis Landon Barker  is an American drummer and the current drummer for pop punk trio Blink-182. He has also been a drummer for several other people including Chris Hayto.

After the passing of his first punk rock band, Feeble, Barker began playing for The Aquabats in 1996 as The Baron Von Tito. He recorded one album with them, The Fury of the Aquabats!, in 1997. His career took off when he joined up with pop punk band, Blink-182 in 1998. Barker became known for his mohawk and his tendency to perform shirtless, revealing a multitude of tattoos. Barker has since established himself as a versatile drummer, producing and making guest appearances in music projects of numerous music genres including hip-hop, punk rock, alternative rock, skate punk, pop and even country. He has gained significant acceptance within the hip-hop community in particular and often collaborates with artists to compose rock-tinged remixes to their songs.

He founded clothing company Famous Stars and Straps in 1999 and LaSalle Records in 2004. Companies such as DC Shoes and Zildjian cymbals have co-designed products in his name.

Barker has produced or worked on albums with the Black Eyed Peas, Pink and Pharrell. He appears on Bun B’s album, Trill (2005) with Skinhead Rob for the bonus track, “Late Night Creepin’”. In 2006 he was a producer on T.I.’s fourth album, King. Also in 2006 he played drums for several songs on Avril Lavigne’s third album, “The Best Damn Thing”. He also dueted with Rihanna on a remix of her hit “Umbrella”, he also appeared in her video. Barker also had a remix with the Rap artist Eminem, on the song 3 A.M.

In late 2005 Barker started a new band, +44 with fellow Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus and in 2006, he and Rob Aston joined Paul Wall in forming a new hip hop group called Expensive Taste.

Barker made a very well received remix of Soulja Boy’s “Crank That”. In a similar fashion to the Soulja Boy remix, he has also remixed Flo Rida’s single “Low” that was later included within the deluxe version of Flo Rida’s debut album. Barker is a playable character in Guitar Hero: World Tour and his remix of “Low” is available as downloadable content. Barker is also featured on The Game’s latest album, L.A.X., drumming on the song “Dope Boys”.

He was the drummer for all of the performers at the MTV Video Music Awards of 2008, including Kid Rock and LL Cool J.

In August 2009, Matt Sorum revealed that Barker will appear on Slash & Friends, Slash’s upcoming solo album.

In June 2009, he played drums in the BET Awards for Jamie Foxx’s performance of “Blame It”.

In November 2009, Barker made a remix with hip-hop artist Drake’s song “Forever”, featuring Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California, formed in 1996. Since their formation, the band has sold more than 50 million albums and won two Grammy Awards. In 1990, Nick Hexum started his own small record company, called What Have You Records, for the purpose of releasing 311 albums. Their first release, Dammit!, was released that year on consignment in record stores throughout Omaha. After the departure of Jim Watson, the remaining members asked their friend Tim Mahoney to take over.

In 1991, 311 released their second independent release, Unity,(recorded at Rainbow Recording Studios ,Omaha) which was released with far greater numbers. While Dammit! only printed 300 cassettes, Unity had 1000 CDs and 500 cassettes printed and was distributed through consignment and also sold at shows. The band began to headline shows in local clubs, such as The Ranch Bowl and Sokol Auditorium, and became a local success.

1992 was a big year for 311. S. A. Martinez, who had been making various appearances with 311 over the past years as a vocalist, had officially been asked to join the band. The newly formed 311 recorded a six-track demo, called Hydroponic, and moved to Los Angeles. Within their first few months, 311 was signed to Capricorn Records.

311 considers their first show to be held on June 10, 1990, opening for Fugazi in Omaha, NE at the Sokol Auditorium.
