Travis Emmons grew up surrounded by music. Hailing from a family of musicians, Travis undertook a multitude of instruments growing up and could play by ear at the uncannily young age of seven. Born and raised under the scintillating spectrum of the Las Vegas strip, Travis was exposed to the party scene when most kids were still working their morning paper routes. It was in this hailstorm of premature partying and the ecstasy of the crowd that Travis discovered his true calling…he was meant to be a DJ.

He started small but with vigor, spinning for friends at local house or desert parties in high school. Over the next few chaotic years, Travis’ skills grew along with his name and by the time he was twenty-one, his reputation garnered him the opening spot for JET nightclub. Shortly afterwards, The Opium Group out of South Beach, Miami recruited Travis for the opening of their new nightclub in Las Vegas where Travis would earn the pleasure of spinning as a resident DJ. In July 2008, Travis traveled to South Beach where he was grateful to showcase several of the famous city’s top nightclubs. It was in this decadent tropical haven so near the gyrating coast of communist Cuba that he began to realize that, what was once just a dream, was now becoming a reality. Upon his triumphant return to Vegas, invigorated by success and inspired by a vague sense of destiny, he immediately packed up and moved to Hollywood, California to pursue his passion for music full time…a move that would not prove easy but ultimately successful.

Presently, Travis has been spinning a decade and is one of the industry’s premier DJ’s in Hollywood, Vegas, San Diego and Miami. Travis has done sets along side with renown DJ’s and artists like Erick Morillo, Sander Kleinenberg, Afrojack, Chuckie, Cedric Gervais, Donald Glaude, Scooter & Lavelle, Klaas, Jermaine Dupree, and Lil Jon… just as a starter cocktail. It’s as sure as “death and taxes” that no matter what club he’s burning the decks in, the crowd blissfully loses control and everyone has a night to remember. One of today’s most versatile DJ’s, he feels the rhythmic pulse of his audience and satisfies their every subconscious musical desire.

Away from his decks, Travis Emmons exudes a modest composure that sets him apart in class and sincerity from most other DJ’s. Sometimes this humility distracts those freshly introduced to him from seeing the neon basements of passion that runs through his veins, but ultimately the combination of his exceptional musical abilities and the quite charisma of his character infects those around him to feel at ease and truly get lost in the music.

Jason Joel Desrouleaux,  better known by his stage name Jason Derülo, is an American singer, songwriter, actor and dancer. After producing records for several artists and writing songs for Cash Money Records, co-founder of the label Birdman, Young Money Entertainment owner Lil Wayne and rapper Diddy, Derülo signed to minor recording label Beluga Heights. After Beluga Heights became part of the Warner Music Group, Derülo released his debut single, “Whatcha Say” in May 2009. The song became a huge digital hit, selling over five million digital downloads, gaining an RIAA certification of double platinum, and reaching number 1 in the US and New Zealand. Derülo released his second single, “In My Head”, in December 2009. His debut album, Jason Derülo, was released in 2010.

Derülo has been writing songs for artists including Diddy, Danity Kane, Donnie Klang, Sean Kingston, Cassie, and Lil Mama since he was 16, intent on becoming a solo performer. After attending performing arts schools and honing his talents as a singer and dancer (plus acting in theatre productions like Ragtime and Smokey Joe’s Cafe), Derülo won the grand prize on the 2006 season finale of the TV show Showtime at the Apollo. Derülo was discovered by music producer J. R. Rotem, who signed him to his record label Beluga Heights Records and Warner Bros. Records.

In a HitQuarters interview, Rotem highlighted Derülo’s dedication to his art by saying, “Jason Derülo has one of the most impressive work ethics I’ve ever come across – he just keeps knocking out songs in the studio. That’s an amazing quality.”

Derülo’s music career began in 2006, when he was featured on Birdman’s song “Bossy”, which was featured on his album, 5 * Stunna.

2009–present: Jason Derülo

On August 4, 2009, Jason released his debut single, “Whatcha Say”. It was produced by J. R. Rotem with additional production by Fuego. The track samples the Imogen Heap song “Hide and Seek”. In late August 2009, the song debuted at number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hit number 1 in November 2009. The single’s music video was released in September 2009; after the single became successful, Derülo began work on his debut album. He released the second single from his album, “In My Head”, on December 8, 2009. It debuted at number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached number five.

Derülo’s debut album, Jason Derülo, was released on March 2, 2010. He spent six weeks promoting the album in his appearances as one of the opening acts for Lady Gaga’s 2009–2010 The Monster Ball Tour. The third single of the album is “Ridin’ Solo,” which was released worldwide on April 26, 2010. By July, the single had reached number nine in the Billboard Hot 100.[10] Derülo has also recently been featured in a song by new artist Will Roush called “Turn it Up,” which also features Stat Quo and Young Buck.

Jason Derülo first charted within the top ten of the UK and Irish Albums Charts in early March 2010.

Taio Cruz is an English singer-songwriter, occasional rapper, and music producer.

In 2008, after years of writing and producing songs for other artists including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Pussycat Dolls he released his debut album Departure. Written, arranged and produced himself, it achieved initial success in the UK and earned him a MOBO Award nomination. In October 2009, he released his follow up album Rokstarr in the UK, which includes his UK and US number one single “Break Your Heart”. In March 2010 he released “Break Your Heart” as his debut US single.

Cruz was featured on Tinchy Stryder’s breakout single “Take Me Back” which peaked at number 3 in the UK Singles Chart. According to Cruz’s official MySpace blog, as of 1 January 2009, Rokstarr Music London officially changed its name to Rokstarr Entertainment Division and abbreviated to R.E.D Inc. Cruz also modified his US deal by leaving Republic Records, instead opting for a signing with Island Def Jam Music Group’s Mercury Records.

Since then he has been working on his follow up album originally titled T.W.O. (This Way Out) but later changed to Rokstarr. It was released on 12 October 2009 through R.E.D Inc/Island Records and Is entirely written and produced by Cruz, with co-writes and co-productions predominantly with UK producer Fraser T Smith. The album’s lead single “Break Your Heart” was released on 14 September 2009 and reached number 1 in the UK where it stayed for 8 weeks. The single spent 6 weeks in the top 10. Cruz has worked on Tinchy Stryder’s album. He also wrothe a song on Cheryl Coles album 3 Words He has also contributed to JLS’s self-titled album.

He is currently signed under the labels of Grand Hustle Records, Rebel Rock Entertainment and Atlantic Records. His first two singles (”Nothin’ on You” & “Airplanes”) both reached the number one in the U.K. and the U.S, while the third single,”Magic” reached the top 10, propelling him to international prominence.

His debut album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, was originally expected to be released on May 25, 2010, but was pushed up to April 27, 2010 due to the commercial success of his song “Nothin’ on You”. The album was released under T.I.’s record label Grand Hustle and includes features from Lupe Fiasco, T.I., Playboy Tre, Hayley Williams (of Paramore), Rivers Cuomo (of Weezer), Rico Barrino, Janelle Monáe, Bruno Mars, Rich Boy, and Eminem.

B.o.B released the video to his hit single “Nothin’ on You”. He released a remastered version of his song “Bet I” (originally featured on his May 25 mixtape). The song now includes a verse from T.I. Other than “Nothin’ on You”, his debut album features three other singles: “Don’t Let Me Fall” (released April 6, 2010), “Airplanes” (April 13, 2010) and “Bet I” (April 20, 2010). “Airplanes” features vocals from Hayley Williams of Paramore, and “Bet I” features T.I. and Playboy Tre. A video for “Bet I” has been released on Atlantic Videos on YouTube. The album was released April 27, 2010 and was given generally positive reviews. His album sold 84,000 copies in the first week and debuted of #1 on the Billboard 200. It made B.o.B the 13th male solo artist to have a debut album at #1 on its first week. In July, B.o.B announced he will go on tour, naming it The SHOOTiN for Stars Tour. The dates and times were released on his website on July 13. B.o.B has received nominations for his album, singles, and himself by the BET Awards, Teen Choice Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and the new Suckerfree Summit. His “Airplanes” was featured in the trailer for the upcoming movie Charlie St. Cloud and “Magic” also landed him an Adidas commercial with him in it. B.o.B was announced to be a performer at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on August 18. He was added to the line-up of Eminem, Kanye West, Drake, Usher, Paramore, Florence and the Machine, and Justin Bieber.

As of July 2010, B.o.B is the latest artist to star in the new Adidas commercial which features “Magic.”

On August 14, 2010, Hayley Williams announced via the Official Paramore Fan Club that B.o.B would be the main support for Paramore’s November UK Tour.

Justin Bieber ( born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian pop/R&B singer. His performances on YouTube were seen by Scooter Braun, who later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Lady Antebellum is an American country music group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. The trio is composed of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin)(from U.S.A) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals). The group made its debut in 2007 as guest vocalists on Jim Brickman’s single “Never Alone”, before signing to Capitol Records Nashville and releasing “Love Don’t Live Here”. The song, which peaked at #3 on the Hot Country Songs chart in May 2008, served as the first single to the group’s self-titled debut album. Born and raised in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, BoA was discovered by SM Entertainment talent agents when she accompanied her older brother to a talent search. In 2000, after two years of training, she released ID; Peace B, her debut Korean album, under SM Entertainment. Two years later, she released her debut Japanese album, Listen to My Heart, under the Avex label. On October 14, 2008, under SM Entertainment USA, a subdivision of SM Entertainment, BoA debuted in the United States with the single “Eat You Up” and released her debut English-language album, BoA on March 17, 2009.

Influenced by hip hop and R&B singers as Nelly and Janet Jackson, many of BoA’s songs fall into those genres. As the singer feels she does not “have any talent for writing “, the writing and composition of her songs are handled mostly by her staff; for this reason, she has drawn some criticism. (Though only a few of her songs are self-written, BoA began composing on her own with her Japanese debut album Listen to My Heart, in which she co-wrote and composed the song “Nothing’s Gonna Change”.)

BoA’s multilingual skills (she speaks Japanese and conversational English along with her native Korean and has recorded songs in Mandarin Chinese) have contributed to her commercial success in South Korea and Japan and her popularity throughout East Asia. David Guetta  is a French house producer and DJ. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded label Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2001. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007). His 2009 album One Love included the single “Sexy Bitch” (featuring Akon), which became a top ten hit in the US. He has worked with a variety of pop artists including Britney Spears, Chris Willis, Kelly Rowland, and will.i.am. In 2009, he was nominated for five Grammy Awards.

Just a Little More Love and Guetta Blaster

In 2001, David Guetta along with Joachim Garraud founded Gum Productions, and in the same year Guetta’s first hit single, “Just a Little More Love”, featuring American singer Chris Willis was released. Willis was vacationing in France when he met Guetta. Guetta’s debut album Just a Little More Love was released in 2002 on Virgin Records and sold over 250,000 copies. The follow-up single, “Love Don’t Let Me Go”, was released in 2002. Guetta released a compilation, Fuck Me I’m Famous, in 2003, named after his party in Ibiza. It included “Just For One Day (Heroes)”, a remix of David Bowie’s song “Heroes”. Later in his career, Guetta continued recording compilations under that title.

Guetta’s second album, Guetta Blaster, was released in 2004 and contained “The World is Mine” featuring JD Davis. In 2006 “Love Don’t Let Me Go” was released as a mash-up with the Tocadisco remix of “Walking Away” by The Egg. The mash-up single charted higher than the original release of the song.

In 2007, Guetta’s third album Pop Life was released. The album was successful in the UK and Ireland as well as in mainland Europe. The lead single “Love Is Gone” reached Number 1 on the American Dance Chart and charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

He played in many countries around the world to promote the album. He played in Mauritius in January 2008, accompanied by French rapper JoeyStarr. In the same year, he and his wife Cathy also planned a new event which took place in the Stade de France on 5 July 2008. The event was called “UNIGHTED” which was sponsored and presented by BURN Energy Drinks. He performed with Tiësto, Carl Cox, Joachim Garraud and Martin Solveig in front of a 40,000 crowd.
One Love and producing for other artists

David Guetta’s fourth studio album, One Love, was digitally released on 21 August 2009, and physically released on 24 August 2009 in Europe and 25 August in the United States. Its first single “When Love Takes Over”, which featured Kelly Rowland, peaked at #2 on the French singles chart and #78 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The intro was sampled from Coldplay’s Clocks. His second single from the album, “Sexy Bitch” (featuring Akon) went to #2 in France and #6 in the US. “One Love” featuring Estelle and “Memories” featuring Kid Cudi followed. Guetta also produced the Black Eyed Peas’ single “I Gotta Feeling”, which peaked at #1 in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, and #2 in France.

Guetta is now working on Madonna, Akon, Britney Spears, Kelis, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Ashanti, and Kelly Rowland upcoming albums for 2010.

In 2009, he was placed third in the “Top 100 DJs” poll by DJ Magazine, and was elected “Best House DJ” by DJ Awards in 2008.

Guetta was nominated for five Grammy awards, three for One Love and two for his work with the Black Eyed Peas.

Lawrence White  is an American rapper, better known as 40 Glocc. He is currently signed to Infamous Record and G-Unit Record.

His manager, Perfect Storm then negotiated a deal with Empire Musicwerks, with distribution by BMG. It was through this deal, he recorded and released his first solo effort, “The Jakal”, which featured such guests as, Bad Azz, Tray Deee, Ras Kass, Kurupt, Mac Minister, Spice 1 and several others; and such producers as Battlecat and Dr. Dre among several others. It was after this album that he decided to part ways with Empire Music.

His manager had another act located out of New York, called Mobb Deep who were also becoming a success. Mobb Deep was then signed to G-Unit Records, and 40 Glocc joined their label, Infamous Records, under the G-Unit imprint.
